ABOUT ME

IMG_0408.jpeg

From an early age, I was drawn to how different forms of creative expression, whether through photography, film, or storytelling, can connect people and capture the world’s complexity. This passion has been the foundation of my work as a visual storyteller.

I studied Critical Documentary Media Production with a minor in Journalism, which allowed me to explore various forms of media, from documentary filmmaking to photography. During my time at the University of Colorado at Boulder, I worked on a range of creative projects, including producing short-form documentaries, curating visual narratives through photography collections, and publishing independent zines. These experiences sharpened my ability to tell compelling stories across different mediums and enabled me to create work that explored both personal and broader cultural themes.

After graduation, I moved to New York City to immerse myself in its vibrant arts and culture scene. I have worked as a cultural documentarian and freelance creative, capturing the essence of the city’s art, music, and fashion communities. Recently, I showcased my photography in a solo show titled تار “TAR” at COZMOS, an arts space in the East Village, where I explored themes of memory, identity, and self-construction through a hand-stitched collage of analog photographs.

Now, I continue to create visual stories that reflect the world around me while staying inspired by the dynamic energy of New York.
