Reining History (2022) is an experimental, short documentary that exposes the violent history of the land that the University of Colorado sits on by unmasking the colonists whose impact has continued to burden the indigenous people today.

The University of Colorado, like many other universities across the United States, sits on indigenous land with little recognition for its history. The universities mascot, a buffalo is a great source of pride among students, yet provides an often overlooked reckoning with the history of the bison, and its deeply rooted symbolism for the Natives to the land.
